Make your own bird kite

posted in: Arts and Crafts | 0

What you’ll need:

  • A4 paper  – you can use all colours of paper or decorate the paper with paints or pens before you start.
  • Extra paper for the beak and tail
  • Stapler
  • String
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Glue stick or PVA glue
  • Pen

  • 15-20 minutes

Take your A4 piece of paper.  You can decorate it now if you want to. Fold it in half.

With it loosely folded bring the top corners down, one to each side to create the wing shape. Staple them together.

Cut out a triangle shape from a new piece of paper for its beak and then glue in place.

Draw on the eyes. (You could also go for stick on googly eyes if you have any).

On another piece of paper draw out your tail. This can be any design. Glue the tail on to your bird kite.

Using the hole punch make a hole at the bottom of your kite and tie a string through.
