Make your own microphone

posted in: Arts and Crafts | 0

You will need:

  • A toilet roll tube
  • Paint or felt pens
  • PVA glue
  • Tin foil

Duration:

15 minutes

Instructions

1.

Paint or colour in the loo roll in the colour you want the base of your microphone to be.

2.

Screw up a piece of tin foil into a ball. Keep adding bits of foil so the ball gets bigger and bigger. Squash it into a nice round shape as you go – it can help to use a heavy object (like a tin of beans) to bash it into shape, but watch your fingers!

3.

Drizzle plenty of PVA glue onto the top rim of the toilet roll. Push the tin foil tube onto the gluey end and leave it to dry.

4.

Draw or stick on buttons.

Now you look the part of a reporter, brush up on your interview skills and you’re ready to go get that interview!
