This activity develops teamwork skills, confidence and increased social and communication skills.
Divide the group into small groups of three or four girls. (For online, use breakout rooms).
Explain that they are going to host a dinner party. They can invite six famous people to their party (who can be dead/alive, real/fictional) and two people from the group.
Ask each group to design a seating plan for their chosen guests.
Ask them to put together a guest list and a menu, which should be a three course meal including drinks.
The groups feed back at the end of the session explaining the reasons why they have invited those guests and where they will be sitting.
To evaluate the activity you could ask the girls what skills they used during the session, what they found easy or difficult and what could have been done differently.
