Talk about the fact that to have a good team spirit, developing trust is essential. If a group of people hold trust then they find it much easier to talk openly and communicate with each other.
Play the Leading the Blind game as follows: working in pairs one person is blindfolded and the other leads them around an obstacle course. The two people take it in turns to reverse the roles.
After the exercise ask each individual how they felt when they were being led and what it was like leading someone who could not see.
Play the Sitting Circle game as follows: the group stand in a circle facing each other’s backs. Everyone has to stand quite close to each other. When the leader says ‘Sit!’ the whole group have to slowly sit on the knees of the girl who is behind them.
5. As before, have a discussion about people’s feelings of trust for each other.
